HIRIKETIYA & AROUND
SOME PLACES ARE WORTH SLOWING DOWN FOR
Hiri is a good place to start, but there’s plenty beyond the bay. Quiet beaches, fishing villages, ancient temples, wild landscapes and the occasional road that leads somewhere you hadn't planned to go!
These are some of the places we return to, recommend to friends and take our own family when we want to see a little more of the island.
BEACHES
Our local area is full of beaches, each with its own character. Some are made for a morning surf, some for a long swim, and some are best found when you have nowhere else to be.
